Sherlock, Smith and Adams is an employee-owned A/E firm with Architects, Engineers, Medical Planners and Cost Estimators. We were founded in 1946 and are highly respected throughout the A/E industry. Sherlock specializes in designing very complex buildings (e.g. Hospitals, Medical and Dental Clinics, Laboratories, US Military Special Forces Facilities). We also design many other types of facilities such as office buildings, schools, and senior living facilities. Many of our clients are US Government Agencies and project designs are located in interesting places throughout the world. Sherlock places a great value on employee retention. We have a highly experienced staff.
Our main headquarters is located in Montgomery, Alabama. All of our Engineers are located at the headquarters facility. Montgomery is geographically located in the heart of the southeastern US. This is considered a hub location with easy access to major cities such as Atlanta, Birmingham and Nashville. Also, the beautiful beaches of the Gulf Coast are less than three hours away. For those candidates that have children, Montgomery has a wonderful Magnet Public School program. This program is one of the best in the nation. Also, Alabama has a great prepaid state college tuition program called PACT. Auburn University is less than an hour away and has renowned college degree programs in Engineering, Architecture, Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy.
